Street Outreach
Third Level Crisis Intervention Center is looking for youth between the ages of 15-20 to volunteer their time to join the peer outreach team. For more information please contact 231-922-4800.
Our Street Outreach counselors work with youth age 13-20 who are in crisis, homeless and/or living in unsafe situations. This programs goes to where youth congregate and offers survivial aid. Street Outreach also assists youth in obtaining needed resources and services. Street Outreach also provides supervised recreational activities during the summer in addition to a variety of events throughout the year. This program also runs a youth Drop-In. At Drop-In youth can participate in therapy groups that assist youth in exploring strengths, identify goals, healthy eating classes, physical education and relationship building. Youth can also participate in the planning and implementing of outreach activities for community youth while receiving trainings to become a peer leader in their community, Peer Outreach Worker.
