News! Cartridge World of Traverse City has donated $4,000 to Third Level this year. In the center receiving the latest check for Third Level is Sandy Piotrowski, Development Coordinator. Presenting the check from Cartridge World is (from the left) Al, Kelvin Shaw (owner), Terry, and Craig.
A big thanks to Michael “Frosti” Zernow who donated $300 to Pete’s Place from his exciting home-town appearance at the Lars Hockstad Auditorium in March. Zernow chose the youth homeless shelter, saying, “After the hardships we experienced in China, I am all about making sure that kids have a roof over their head.” The event was presented by the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Grand Traverse.
In March, The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians allocated $7,500 from the 2% second-half 2007 allocation cycle to Third Level. These funds will be used to offset the cost of providing specific assistance items to runaway, homeless, and street youth & youth in crisis through our Youth & Family Services, Street Outreach, and Transitional Living Programs. For 2008, THIRDlevel received a Capacity Grant from Rotary Charities in Traverse City to continue implementation of a fund development program.
